The purchased of these buses are in line with GPA Management’s strategic approach in promoting staff welfare. They will certainly ensure a safe travel comfort for staff commuting daily to and from work and improve staff productivity and efficient performance for greater institutional output.
Meanwhile, these 58 seater buses will add up the Authority’s bus fleet. Just like other buses of GPA, they are placed under Riders For Health (RFH) for routine and general servicing/maintenance as part of sustainability mechanism.
Sounding the opinion of Almameh Manneh, Vice President of GPA Staff Association, he thanked Management for always putting staff interest and welfare at the fore. He also noted with satisfaction that these buses will ease up staff travelling burden and improve their income level.
“With this increase in buses, staff will be able to turn up for work regularly and get home on time with less travelling difficulty. They will save staff from paying fares to and from work and thereby increase their monthly income status,” VP Manneh stated.
