The Banjul Port Harbour lies on the estuary of the River Gambia and South Eastern part of the City of Banjul. It is a sheltered Harbour with a wide and safe inner anchorage area of 1 to 1.2 miles wide and 2 miles long. The Access channel to Banjul Habour is 26miles long and 1.5miles wide with a minimum depth of 9.0 meters.
